Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and making them comfortable upon their arrival
  • Answering phones and managing front office communications effectively
  • Checking patients in and out for their appointments
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the calendar for all dentists
  • Handling insurance verifications and understanding insurance claim processes
  • Managing insurance claims and tracking accounts receivable, experience here is a plus

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a dental office setting
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology and office procedures
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations specific to dental practice
  • Experience using Dentrix software and possessing strong computer skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Flexible, able to multitask effectively under pressure
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a welcoming demeanor
