Job Title: Composite Technician
Location: Spanish Forks, UT 84660
Duration: 6 Months Contract-to-Hire

Job Overview:
The Composite Technician assists in the fabrication, curing, build-up, and assembly of composite materials used in aerospace components. This role involves working with molds, blueprints, and process instructions to support manufacturing operations while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing molds and forms and support the lay-up of composite materials.
• Cut, trim, drill, route, and sand composite materials to blueprint dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform vacuum bagging and assist with curing processes for composite parts.
• Assemble aircraft components using structural adhesives, rivets, and fasteners.
• Prepare surfaces and apply epoxy or urethane coatings as required.
• Maintain records, follow work instructions, and keep the work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical instructions.
• Familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic math calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a loud manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety and quality procedures.
