Training And Client Success Role At Smokeball

Training is one of the most important connections a client has with us, which means this role is one of the most pivotal at Smokeball. We need highly skilled communicators and trainers to help make the clients' journey with our software as seamless as possible. If you have experience in the legal industry, even better!

This is a hybrid role with our office being in Chicago, IL.

A typical day involves :

• Engaging regularly with clients to enhance the value of utilizing Smokeball software.
• Assessing client training needs and adjusting the pace and environment.
• Delivering and facilitating client training sessions.
• Developing, maintaining, and improving training programs, materials, and quick reference guides.
• Improving software usage through proactive communication.
• Handling day-to-day client issues including investigating client problems, determining the source, and recommending possible solutions or connecting them with the appropriate resource.
• Monitoring and fostering interactions within the Smokeball Community.
• Collaborating and working with Onboarding Specialists and Account Managers to ensure clients are tracking toward ongoing success.

Sara Sultan : Hello! I have been with Smokeball since 2014 and presently hold the title of Senior Trainer. I absolutely love my job! One of the most exciting functions of my job is I get the opportunity to work with attorneys and paralegals across the country spanning various areas of law. I have gained a wide array of knowledge of what it means to be an attorney in a small town as well as in a big city. I am a huge advocate for Smokeball both as a company and the actual product we put forth. One of the best aspects of Smokeball as a company is that they really care about each employee as a person. We often hold personal enrichment trainings during working hours to help us to develop in our own personal growth. We have had speakers come to Smokeball to teach us about personal finance, meditation, how to be anti-racist, understanding learning / communication styles, gender identity and more! I am also a member of our Philanthropy, Equity, and Inclusion (PIE) council. We strive to include all in the workplace, but we also partner with charities to help underserved communities. Another favorite part of coming to work every day is getting the opportunity to collaborate with my incredible colleagues. When I am not at work, I am spending time with my family. I have four children from high school through college with three still living at home. I love to read fiction in my spare time and I love playing sports of all kinds.

Josh Testo : Hi! I'm a Client Trainer and I've been with Smokeball since February 2023. Smokeball has been a great place to further my career in client success, and to foster my corporate training skills. A couple of the things I love about working here are connecting with great clients all over the country, and being part of a collaborative, supportive team. Outside of work, I'm a dog dad to 2 great pups, and a huge gamer. Whether it's board games, video games, or card games - work hard, play hard!

The pay range for this role is : $70,000 - $80,000 / year
