Job Summary :
eos is looking for a Sr Forecasting Manager to own forecasting market and category growth and associated analysis. This position will be focused on leveraging market, category, and consumer insights to inform sales forecasting, demand planning and financial planning. The right candidate will be a data driven self-starter, strong cross functional facilitator, and have a proven track record of identifying risks / opportunities and triangulating multiple data points to drive business results. This role reports to the VP of Omnichannel & Strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Forecasts market and category growth across body, hygiene and grooming, and lip care categories
- Benchmarks retailer sales plans, demand plans and financial plans against market and category growth
- Identifies opportunities, risks and solutions based on data trends
- Leverage tools / data to gain a deep understanding of the market and categories and competition
- Participates / leads monthly business reviews / planning meetings with senior management
- Continually tracks and makes optimization recommendations for business performance against market and category growth rates
- Provides analytical support to Market Planning and Strategy leads on market or category cost standardizations for go to market planning
- Partners with Market Planning and Strategy leads and the Omnichannel team to develop market and category insights to convey sell-in strategies
- Builds effective and productive relationships with the sales team, finance, demand planning, and any external partners
Requirements :
At least 7-10 years of dynamic experience in consumer-packaged goods Planning, Operations or other Analytical roles; Bachelor’s degree requiredExperience analyzing sales plans in order to identify risks, opportunities, forecast and drive improvement of business resultsProcess oriented, comfortable managing workstreams across cross functional partnersExperience analyzing other parts of the business including costs to create standardization, retailer margin differences, ongoing performance optimizations & tracking toolsKnowledge of technical systems such as Power BI, Nielson, and Numerator and willingness to learn new technologies and forecasting platformsStrong communication skills with an ability to collaborate, educate and influence cross-functional teams and provide clear and concise feedbackExcellent project management and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and follow throughDemonstrates a high level of resourcefulness, flexibility and can-do attitudeCompany Summary :
