Hours per week: 40 hours, Full-Time
Campus: Melbourne

Job Summary:
This position supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Learn and assist with all daily functions of the Human Resources department (Philippians 2:4)
Handle all information confidentially and professionally (Proverbs 11:13)
Process biweekly payroll
Maintain accurate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and other HR documentation (Proverbs 16:3)
Ensure compliance with any local, state, and federal laws and regulations, managing risk, and updating HR records to ensure they are accurate
Perform administration tasks related to employee benefits such as healthcare (including invoice verifications), paid time off, retirement plans, etc. (1 Peter 4:10)
Interview applicants and assist with other recruiting and onboarding duties
Assist with employee training and development
Other duties as assigned by supervisor (Colossians 3:23)

Job Skills and Competencies:
3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) software
Excellent math and documentation skills
Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, exhibiting empathy and emotional intelligence (Ephesians 4:3)
Able to manage time effectively
