A growing design-engineering firm is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer experienced in Data Center and mission-critical design . This Electrical Engineer role is a high-visibility leadership position with opportunity to lead design efforts, build and mentor your own team , and play a key role in future hiring and growth initiatives.

You'll be hands-on in design initially, then transition into a leadership and oversight role while continuing to stay involved technically. The company maintains a lean, collaborative culture and offers hybrid flexibility when not traveling or at project sites.

Electrical Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design solutions for data centers and complex power systems
• Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate across disciplines, clients, and vendors
• Conduct site visits and field observations
• Ensure quality and accuracy of deliverables
• Mentor and guide junior engineers

Electrical Engineer Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (PE) license required

~ 10+ years of experience, including data center design

Strong knowledge of MV (34.5 kV) and LV distribution systems

Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam

Proficient in NEC, load / fault / voltage drop calculations

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Details

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8–5

Travel : ~25–30%

Hybrid flexibility outside of office / site visits

Compensation : ~$150K–$170K+ (Highly Negotiable Base Salary)
