The Product Creative team at Affirm is a cross-functional group of brand designers, copywriters, and creative strategists focused on shaping the visual experience of Affirm's owned channels. This team drives the evolution of Affirms product marketing communications, designing for channels such as email, in-app experiences, logged-out web, and other key touchpoints. As part of the Product organization, we collaborate closely with Product, Growth, Content Design, and Engineering to create compelling, high-impact visuals that drive engagement and clarity for our users.

As Affirm scales, the expectations for the Product Creative team have expanded. We are looking for a Visual Designer to lead the next chapter of Affirms consumer communications by refining the visual language and overall experience across multiple product surfaces. This role will be pivotal in building scalable frameworks, bridging the gap between Brand and Product, and ensuring consistency across all communication touchpoints.

What Youll Do

• Lead the design and execution of Affirms marketing and product communications, ensuring a cohesive, high-quality visual experience across email, in-app messages, web, and beyond.
• Partner with Product and Content Designers to develop a unified design ecosystem of assets that integrates marketing and product communications, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a high standard of craft across all channels and platforms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Growth, and Brand to create best-in-class communications that align with business objectives and user needs.
• Contribute to the development and expansion of Affirms Communications Design System, building reusable components and documentation for designers, engineers, and marketers.
• Co-design compelling in-app experiences with teams such as the promo platform team, seasonal / holiday campaigns, and other growth initiatives to enhance Affirms product ecosystem.
• Educate and partner with teams across Affirm to provide guidance on visual strategy, best practices, ensuring consistency and clarity across all communication efforts.
• Drive innovation in how Affirm communicates with its users by leveraging new design techniques, motion, and interactive elements where applicable.

Affirm offers a simple and transparent pay structure based on location, experience and job-related skills. Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents).

USA base pay ranges per year : CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT : $100,000 - $120,000; all other U.S. states : $89,000 - $109,000.

Affirm is a remote-first company. The majority of roles are remote and you can work almost anywhere within the country of employment. Some roles may require occasional office work.
