About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - ICU

Profession : Registered Nurse

Duration : 12 weeks

Shift : 7P-7A

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum 2 years in ICU

License : Active nursing license in state of employment

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS (preferred)

Must-Have :

Neuro and Trauma experience are essential.

Patient management skills including ICP monitoring, External Ventricular Drain (EVD) management, and ventilator management.

Experience with critical care drips and hemodynamic lines (A-lines / CVP).

Strong assessment skills and cardiac rhythm recognition.

Experience with chest tubes and tracheostomy care.

Charge nurse experience is preferred.

Ability to float to other units if necessary.

Description :

Registered Nurse position available in the Intensive Care Unit.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.

Duties include managing complex patient types such as medical, surgical, trauma, neuro, orthopedic, interventional, and more.

Patients may require ICP monitoring, EVD, ventilation, and management of critical care drips.

Ratios are 1 : 2 based on acuity, with the possibility of a third patient during transitions.

Flexibility to float to other departments when necessary.

Weekend rotation and holiday scheduling will be required, with requests submitted for approval.

Professional scrubs are required, in any solid color.
