Job Details

  • The Cardiac Cath Lab Technician demonstrates critical thinking skills and judgment in assisting with the performance of imaging studies in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
  • The Technician is responsible and accountable to perform studies timely, under the direction of the Cardiologist, Chief Technologist or Director of Imaging Services.
  • Tech will work both Cath and EP (Electrophysiology) so must have EP experience.
  • Expectations : scrub and monitor (recording).
  • Will float between campuses if needed.

    • Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience required.
  • Must have EP experience.
  • RCIS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • BLS certification required.

    • Schedule Information

  • Shift : Days (7a-5 : 30p, 4 10s).
  • 9-11 call shifts per schedule including after hours and weekend call.
  • Schedule is six weeks in duration.

    • Unit Specific Information

  • Works in Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) units.

    • Additional Details

  • Reason for opening : special, internal vacancy, leave coverage.
  • Questions about position duration, floating to other units, number of beds, years of experience, interview process, pending state license, rehiring past clinicians, work schedule, EMR, scrub colors / dress code, parking location.
