Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession : Nuc Med Tech Specialty : Nuclear Medicine Duration : Full Time Shift : Days Hours per Shift : 37.5 hours per week Experience : Minimum years of experience required. License : Client DOH Licensure required. Certifications : ARRT - NMTCB required. Must-Have : High School Diploma / GED required. BLS certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire. Description : Performs routine and some special procedure imaging. Prepares patients for procedures. Assists radiologists when needed. Prepares, operates, and cares for the equipment being used. Develops and processes film / CDs when needed. Adheres to established radiology standards of care. Applies principles of radiation protection to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others. Assumes responsibility for assigned area and duties. Adheres to customer service programs. Performs other duties as assigned, such as quality assurance. Performs diagnostic and some special procedure medical radiographic images utilizing CT assistance. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures.
