Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Pocatello, Idaho (Zip : 83201) - Idaho healthcare jobs Unit : Med / Surg Floor 4A Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 - End : 2 / 16 / 2026) Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1460 - $1500 Patient Population : Adults & Geriatrics Daily Census : 44 patients Weekend Coverage : Required (2 shifts per pay period, flexible) Orientation : 24 hours onsite 100-mile radius rule : Must live at least 100 miles from the facility Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience Graduate of an accredited nursing program Active RN license in Idaho Current BLS certification (required) ACLS certification (within 12 months of hire) Epic charting system experience preferred Ability to float to other clinical units as needed Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills Willingness to work weekends and holidays as scheduled Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med / Surg environment Respond to life-threatening situations with appropriate clinical interventions Document patient care in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Prioritize, delegate, and evaluate patient care tasks Utilize clinical skills including IV management, wound care, tracheostomy care, chest tubes, and feeding tube management Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services) Maintain professional development and clinical competencies Adapt to evolving patient safety protocols and departmental goals Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
