Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Product Owner / Manager to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodology and demonstrate a proven track record in product ownership and management within a software development environment. This role is critical in driving the vision, strategy, and execution of our software products, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

Responsibilities :

Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear communication of product vision and requirements.

Define and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that it aligns with the overall product strategy and business objectives.

Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality software products on time and within budget.

Facilitate SAFe ceremonies, including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Gather and analyze feedback from stakeholders and end users to inform product decisions and enhancements.

Monitor and report on product performance metrics, making data driven decisions to optimize product features and functionality.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development and agile methodologies.

Mandatory Skills :

Strong knowledge and experience as a SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager.

Proven experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with a focus on delivering customer value.

Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management software.

Preferred Skills :

Experience in leading cross functional teams in a fast paced environment.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of UX / UI design principles and user centered design methodologies.

Experience in working with cloud based technologies and platforms.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

7 10 years of experience in software development, with a focus on product ownership and management.

SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification is highly desirable.

Proven track record of successfully delivering software products in an agile environment.
