Speech Language Pathology Assistant
Looking for a full-time SLPA Monday (9-6) - Friday (8-5).
New Horizon Therapy is seeking a qualified pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to provide support and services under direct supervision of a licensed SLP, for children (birth to 21 years) and work to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and social communication.
SLPA's daily responsibilities :
ongoing speech sessions with clients on caseloaddata tracking to report on goalsclear communication with parents to review session and to deliver home assignmentsmaintaining SOAP notes for daily appointmentsSLPA's must be able to :
Provide direct treatment by following plans or protocols developed by the supervising SLP.Document client performance and report performance to supervising SLP.Have strong communication skillsStrong leadership skillsAbility to work independentlyCollection of data with each sessionHave completed an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant training program.Hold a current SLPA license.Hold a current fingerprint clearance card or be in the process of obtaining one.Ability to be flexibleJob Type : Full-Time
