Our dietary team plays a vital role in creating a comfortable, home-like environment, and we’re currently looking for an experienced  Cook to join our team.

As a Cook in our skilled nursing facility, you will be responsible for preparing meals that meet residents’ dietary needs, preferences, and prescribed nutritional plans. Working in coordination with our Dietary Manager and care team, you’ll help ensure each resident receives safe, appetizing, and properly portioned meals served with care and attention.

Schedule Options :

Full-Time & Part-Time Available

AM Shift : 5 : 00 AM - 1 : 30 PM

PM Shift : 12 : 00 PM - 8 : 30 PM

Weekend availability required for some roles

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary guidelines

Ensure proper portioning, food handling, and temperature control standards are met

Accommodate special diets including puree, mechanical soft, diabetic, and low-sodium

Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Rotate inventory and assist in receiving and storing food supplies

Collaborate with dietary aides and nursing staff to ensure resident satisfaction

Qualifications :

Prior experience as a Cook in a healthcare, nursing home, or long-term care facility preferred

Basic understanding of therapeutic diets and dietary restrictions

ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Team-oriented with strong communication skills and attention to detail
