Job description

Location : Elkins Park & Philadelphia, PA

Position Type : Locum Psychologist Child & Adult (Rehabilitation)

Overview

We are seeking a licensed Rehabilitation Psychologist to provide coverage across two locations (split schedule : 3 days at one site and 2 days at another ). This role involves supporting patients and families in a Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program .

Practice Highlights

  • Weekday shifts only 8 : 00 AM 4 : 30 PM or 9 : 00 AM 5 : 30 PM
  • Provide psychological services to patients and families in inpatient rehabilitation
  • Responsibilities include :

Educating families and team members on patient psychological status

Recommending intervention strategies for psychological deficits

Participating in discharge and destination planning

  • Population served : Adolescents, Young Adults, Older Adults, Frail Elderly
  • Travel required between two nearby campuses

    • Candidate Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D., Psy.D., Ed.D., or equivalent) in Clinical Psychology Required
  • Concentration in Rehabilitation Psychology preferred
  • Minimum 3 years clinical experience Required
  • Experience with behavioral techniques Essential
  • Family therapy experience Preferred
  • Pennsylvania Psychology License Required
  • CPR Certification Required

    • Schedule & Coverage

  • Start Date : ASAP (Credentialing timeframe : days)
  • Weekdays only, no call coverage required
  • Split schedule : 3 days at one site, 2 days at another nearby site
