The Role : The Brand Building Manager will assist in creating and maintaining a strong digital presence for our company and our clients. Your role is to implement digital marketing strategies through social media accounts and web presence. Ultimately, you should be able to increase web traffic and customer engagement metrics aligned with broader marketing objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in client brand builds and refreshes, including development of brand style, tone of voice, and communications
  • Develop content strategies to build an effective digital presence for clients
  • Contribute to website development, changes, and optimizations with SEO best practices in mind
  • Manage client social channels across multiple platforms
  • Create engaging content for client social media accounts, including copywriting and lightweight graphic design
  • Manage influencer marketing campaigns, with the ability to brief on influencer type, content type and best practices, and campaign flighting / reporting.
  • Develop an optimal posting schedule for social channels, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
  • Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries to aid in building community
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans as needed
  • Assist in the strategy and execution of Indie company blog – coordinating content calendar, managing team deadlines, proofreading and editing, creating visuals to accompany posts, ensuring content is aligned with style guide, generating new ideas for blog content, and posting on all relevant channels
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Research and discover current trends and suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions, reels, etc to ensure maximum effectiveness of social channels

Requirements

Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Major in Marketing, Communications or PR major preferred
  • 3 years experience with creating digital content and social media management
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Proficiency with platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Facebook Business Manager, TikTok Creator Marketplace, and Google Analytics
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to execute high quality, accurate and consistent deliverables
  • Ability to build relationship and collaborate in a virtual environment
  • Comfortable with learning new tools and technologies
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite, specifically Google Slides, Docs, Sheets, Drive
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva preferred
  • Squarespace and WordPress experience preferred
