Seasonal Process Assistant, Seasonal Process Assistant

The Seasonal Process Assistant is assigned to the Area Manager and will hold responsibilities specific to the different Fulfillment Center areas. The positions schedule or shift may change in the future. reserves the right to modify shift times or rotate employees between existing shifts at any time based on business need. This requisition will fill DA5-0730 (Outbound FHD).

Support and work in the department as required

Helping support daily management of department duties including allocating labor leading meetings assigning job duties and communicating with internal and external suppliers

Providing vacation coverage for Area Managers

Providing policy follow-up attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline)

Tracking and reporting of ATS / labor hours

Assisting the floor as an associate resource training associates and verifying SOP compliance

Ensuring successful area performance through tracking reporting and feedback of associate performance

Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity

Filling in as needed with production duties

Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals

Reviewing and updating SOP as required

Assisting in keeping work area clean and organized

Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area

Coaching associates to work safely at all times

Participating in safety initiatives

Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends nights and holidays
• Can lift up to 49 pounds stand / walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours and be able to frequently push pull squat bend and reach
• Work 40 hours / week and overtime as required
• 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
• 2 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $38480 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $49920 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
