  • A Direct Support Professional provides essential support to adults in their homes and communities—fostering independence, encouraging personal growth, and promoting a joyful, inclusive life.

What You’ll Do :

  • As a DSP, you’ll support people in living their best lives.

    • Your role may include :

  • Supporting daily living tasks like personal care, medication, cooking, and cleaning Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, and community events (think : movies, birthday parties, music, games, and more!) Teaching and modeling life skills through everyday activities Promoting safety, comfort, and independence in the person’s home and community Being a strong advocate for people who may not always be able to advocate for themselves Laughing, having fun, and building meaningful connections Pay rate : $18.25 / hour Increase to $18.75 / hour after a year of service in this role at Mains'l Maximum pay : $19.25 / hour (based on years of service at Mains'l) Benefits (Full-Time) : Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off (PTO), sick time (part-time and full-time), and holidays 401(k) retirement plan Education assistance (tuition reimbursement) Paid parental leave, jury duty leave, funeral leave Career growth opportunities within a supportive and inclusive workplace Who We’re Looking For : You don’t need direct experience to be successful—we provide training!
