Job Summary :

The Site Commercial Advisor (SCA) serves as the primary commercial interface for the site, partnering closely with operations to drive value through strategic planning and execution. This role requires a deep understanding of site-level business processes and a strong commercial mindset to challenge traditional approaches and deliver incremental value.

Key Responsibilities :

• Act as the commercial lead and advocate for optimal outcomes in site operations.
• Serve as the commercial "straight edge” for procurement and business decisions.
• Participate in key planning and execution meetings, providing commercial insight and leadership.
• Review site business plans and identify opportunities for commercial improvement.
• Lead and support commercial activities including bids, negotiations, and settlements.
• Distribute and oversee commercial activities across the extended team.
• Mentor Strategic Buyers supporting the site remotely.
• Troubleshoot critical RtP (Requisition to Pay) issues impacting site reliability; escalate non-critical issues to back-office support.
• Coordinate field walks with suppliers and represent procurement at sustainability events.
• Train local business partners on procurement processes and best practices.
