Job Duties
The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is seeking a CSP Support Technician. The Conviction & Suspension Processing (CSP) Support Technician is a key part of the Driver Services Administration Division. This role ensures the accurate processing of driver history records and compliance with motor vehicle laws. Responsibilities include managing high-volume mail requests, customer inquiries, and processing legal documents such as court orders, contributing to the division's mission to maintain accurate driver records to uphold public safety.
The Driver Monitoring Division, within the Driver Services Administration, enhances roadway safety by monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records of driver behaviors and sanctions. The division tracks driving records, ensures compliance with suspensions, revocations, and reinstatements, as well as provides timely notifications to drivers and law enforcement, all aimed at reducing risks on the roads.
