A Personal Care Assistant is required to provide individualized care to students with medical or developmental needs. This role emphasizes safety, comfort, and consistent support to help students engage fully in classroom or therapy activities.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous PCA or healthcare experience preferred
Ability to follow care plans and safety protocols
Patience, reliability, and strong interpersonal skills
CPR / First Aid certification preferred
Responsibilities :
Assist with personal care and hygiene
Support mobility, feeding, and positioning needs
Implement individualized plans under guidance from staff
Monitor health, behavior, and overall well-being
Document care and communicate observations to supervising staff
