Must-Have : Experience in preoperative care, phase 1 and phase 2 recovery

Description :

The Registered Nurse will work in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.

This position requires experience in preoperative care, phase 1, and phase 2 recovery.

The nurse will be responsible for assessments and care of patients in the PACU.

Experience with charting in Epic is required.

The role involves managing a variety of procedures including but not limited to abdominoplasty, cholecystectomy, and tonsillectomy.

Candidates should have skills in pain assessment and management, medication reconciliation, and IV management.

The nurse will provide discharge instructions and follow-up phone calls as needed.

A focus on pediatric and adult patients is essential.

The candidate must be prepared to work Monday through Thursday from 06 : 30 to 17 : 00.

No weekends or call requirements are expected for this role.

The position does not involve floating unless staffing needs change.
