The City of Fishers is seeking a professional in building maintenance for a full-time day-shift role in our facility maintenance service department. The Department of Public Works (DPW) Senior Maintenance Tech position is an integral part of a team that helps make the City of Fishers a vibrant and growing community. You too can make a difference in many areas of the community by working with other dedicated professionals. Our goal as the Citys Facility Maintenance Team is to provide a reliable skilled service that is able to maintain and repair over 700000 sq. ft. of buildings and structures including the Police Station Fire Stations City Hall Recreation Buildings and public meeting spaces just to name a few. As part of the Department of Public Works Team this position also serves a key role in special community events.

Examples of Duties

• Maintenance repairs and preventive maintenance of all systems.
• Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems in all facilities.
• Maintaining the efficiency and good working conditions of the facilities.
• Maintaining facility water treatment systems cooling towers air handlers disassemble and reassemble system components furniture and similar.
• Monitor facility fire extinguishing systems other mechanical systems and fire suppression sprinklers.
• Installs new / replacement equipment and materials in facilities light heating ventilating air conditioning and other maintenance work.
• Hands on project management.
• Contractor Supervision.
• Preventative maintenance on various types of equipment.
• Snow removal duties.
