As Texas chief tax collector, accountant, revenue estimator, treasurer and purchasing manager, the agency is responsible for writing the checks and keeping the books for the multi-billion-dollar business of state government.

Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional evening, weekend hours and holidays. Hours may change based on business need.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, digital media, or related field required.
- Preferred Education : Masters degree preferred.
- Experience : Eight to ten years of progressively responsible experience in digital communications, including strategic program oversight and executive-level leadership of teams. Proven experience directing cross-functional creative teams and managing large-scale multimedia initiatives across digital platforms. Experience collaborating with executive leadership, legal, policy, and communications divisions to ensure unified messaging and alignment with strategic objectives. Six years of experience ensuring brand consistency, quality standards, and regulatory compliance across digital platforms.
- Preferred Experience : Experience in public sector or large-scale organizations preferred.
- Substitutions : One year (30 semester hours) of education from an accredited college or university may substitute for one year of work experience up to a maximum of 4 years.
- Licenses and Certifications : A valid Texas (or state of residency) driver's license, current proof of automobile insurance and a satisfactory driving record are a condition of employment.

You will be performing managerial work providing direction and guidance in strategic operations and planning.The Digital Director leads strategy, planning, and execution for CPAs digital and social media presence.This position combines high-level content planning with hands-on creative workcopywriting, photography, videography, and multimedia support.The Digital Director ensures the Comptrollers digital platforms reflect a consistent, engaging voice while capturing and sharing key moments from events across Texas.Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Duties include :
Administering and directing strategy, planning, and execution for CPAs digital and social media presence.Directing the strategy and oversee the implementation of the Comptrollers official social media presence, including content development, publishing schedules, audience engagement, and performance analysis.Developing creative content tailored for diverse audiences, ensuring consistent tone and message across platforms.Planning, developing, and approving schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals; and directs evaluation activities.Participating in or oversee strategic communication efforts.Overseeing digital content capture at events, including coordination of staff coverage and, when appropriate, accompanying the Comptroller to ensure high-impact multimedia content.Collaborating with division leadership, including Public Affairs and Executive Communications, to ensure digital media strategies are fully integrated with broader agency communication goals.Maintaining an editorial calendar for digital content that aligns with strategic initiatives and outreach opportunities.Supervising professional staff responsible for digital communications, providing guidance, setting performance goals, and evaluating outcomes in alignment with agency priorities.Collaborating with the Multimedia team on video production, graphics, and digital storytelling projects.Reviewing and responding to requests from other agency divisions to feature agency programs on social media channels.Leading the analysis of digital engagement trends and public sentiment to inform executive decision-making and guide strategic adjustments to digital communication efforts.Developing and implements techniques for evaluating program activities and / or business functions within a department or division; and identifies need for changesEnsuring brand consistency and high production quality across all digital platforms.Performing other duties as assignedHave knowledge of :
