Job descriptionDay Shift. 5x8. Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications. Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse. Educates patients on surgical procedures. Records patients’ medical information and vital signs. Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic display. Initiates corrective action whenever the patient. Completion of accredited Surgical Technologist program. Hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). BLS preferred (American Heart Association). Minimum of 2 years experience required, 5 years preferred as a certified Surgical Tech working in an OR setting is required.\n Dental Assistant Certification required. Registered Nurses (RN) Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) Travel Nursing Quality Assurance / Review, Performance Improvement, HEDIS Nursing Leadership Case Management Technologists : Medical, Laboratory, Cardiac, RadTech, X-Ray Therapy : Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Social Work : LCSW / LMSW, Case Management, Care Coordination Med Support : Medical Assistants, Phlebotomy, Surgical / Sterile Techs Pharmacists and Pharmacy Techs Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistants Practice Management Clinical Operations Administrative Support Reception, Clerical, Call Center Claims Appeals / Denials / Reimbursement Insurance Pre-Authorizations Medical Billing / Coding 401k retirement plan Weekly pay
