We are a growing CPA firm providing accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. We pride ourselves on delivering accurate, timely, and personalized financial support. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team and assist with managing the day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients.

Position Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records for several business clients using QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online . This includes recording transactions, reconciling bank and credit card accounts, and preparing financial reports for internal and client review. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and prior experience working in a CPA or multi-client environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries.
  • Record and categorize transactions in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online .
  • Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations .
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for internal and client use.
  • Request and organize client documentation, including bank statements , credit card statements , and supporting receipts.
  • Maintain orderly and accurate accounting records in compliance with firm procedures.
  • Collaborate with CPAs and accountants during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Communicate with clients regarding missing information, discrepancies, and account updates.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a CPA firm or multi-client environment .
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online .
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and client service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Preferred

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with payroll, sales tax filings, or basic tax preparation.
