HRBP Manager
The HRBP Manager serves as a strategic partner to leadership, providing guidance and support on human resources matters across assigned business units. This role is responsible for aligning HR initiatives with organizational objectives, fostering a culture of engagement and accountability, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Oversee complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Guide investigations and provide recommendations on corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as internal policies.
- Talent Management & Development
- Collaborate with leaders on performance management processes, coaching leaders to address performance gaps and strengthen team effectiveness.
- Support leadership development, training, and succession planning initiatives.
- Drive employee engagement strategies to improve retention and workforce morale.
- Compensation & Benefits Alignment
- Provide guidance on compensation practices, salary benchmarking, and job evaluations.
- Partner with Total Rewards team to communicate benefits and compensation programs effectively.
- Change Management & Culture
- Lead organizational change initiatives by providing communication, coaching, and transition support.
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Establish consistent HRBP practices and ensure high-quality delivery of HR support.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP / SCP, PHR / SPHR) preferred.Experience : Minimum of 7 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a business partner or HR leadership role. Prior people-management experience required.Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and change management.Demonstrated ability to influence and build strong partnerships with senior leadership.Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.Experience in healthcare, hospital, or unionized environments is highly desirable.Saint Joseph's Medical Center is an equal opportunity employer.
