Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Radiation Therapy

Shift : Days / 7 : 30a-4p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week

Length : 13 weeks

Requirements :

  • 2 year minimum experience
  • ARRT T
  • BLS

Outpatient Cancer Center Radiation Therapist. 5, 8HR (07 : 30-16 : 00)

2 yr min. experience

Patient Age Group : Adults

No Call

No Float

Need to know time off requirements in advance. Work m / T / W / Th / F; Closed days for holidays include 11 / 28-29; 12 / 25-26; 1 / 1; we do have RO students on occasion.

8 HR orientation, general orientation and onboarding by hospital then paired with mentor at all times.

Scrub color : Caribbean blue but any color but black will work. Also business casual with lab coat.

Documentation System : Elekta Mosaiq (Must have experience)

Unit Info : Patient Diagnoses

  • Variety, but top ones include prostate, breast, lung, head / neck, skin, rectal, primary brain, palliative bone mets

    • Special Procedures / Unit Details :

  • SRS, SBRT, IMRT, VMAT, 3D, 4D, 2D, IGRT, SGRT, DIBH
  • Outpatient RTT position
  • RTTs complete daily warm-ups - not required

    • Special Equipment Required :

  • Elekta Versa HD accelerators
  • XVI &iView imaging
  • VisionRT SGRT
  • Hexapod table

    • Other :

  • GE CT simulator
  • Philips Pinnacle TPS

    • Certifications : ARRT - Preferred

    ARRT T - Required

    BLS - Required
