Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Care Visits. Interim Healthcare of Delaware\n\nInterim Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) for home care visits throughout the State of Delaware.\n\nWe have multiple opportunities for nurses to make supplemental income doing routine nursing care visits. This entails seeing a client in their home or group home setting and performing a nursing visit following specific MD orders. Some examples of the visits we do on a daily basis are : diabetes oversight in which we check the blood sugar and administer insulin if ordered, foley catheter changes, bolus tube feedings, wound care, trach care, medication administration. We also have visits where the nurse goes out to the home on a weekly basis and fills the client's medication box and calls in refills when needed. • Counsels and educates the patient and family in meeting healthcare and related needs\n
• Completes timely and accurate clinical notes including addressing patient's progress\n
• Communicates with the physician and other staff of changes in the patient's needs.\n
• Able to perform CPR\n
• Must be able to lift 50lbs\n
• Trach and Vent experience a PLUS (immediate openings)\n
• IV and Infusion experience a PLUS (immediate openings)\n
• Pediatric experience a PLUS (immediate openings)\n\nRequirements of Registered Nurse (RN) : \n
• Appropriate license to practice in the State of Delaware\n
• At least six (6) months experience within the last five (5) years working in a hospital, home care or nursing home setting within the United States\n
• CPR certified\n
• Negative TB test result\n
• Pass a background check\n
• Provide two (2) professional references\n
• Able to travel to cases as assigned\n
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively\n
