Job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Gluer Machine Operator to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining gluing machinery to ensure high-quality production standards. Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate gluing machines according to production specifications.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on gluing equipment.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Document production data and machine performance as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a machine operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.
