Job descriptionDaytime schedule with work-life balance Opportunity to support a broad range of ultrasound procedures Work with a collaborative and experienced imaging team Access to modern diagnostic equipment and ongoing training Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program ARDMS certification in at least one specialty area (e.g., AB, OB / GYN) preferred Prior experience in general ultrasound preferred Ability to work occasional weekend shifts as needed Strong communication skills and commitment to patient-centered care
A healthcare facility in Kickapoo, IL is seeking two full-time General Sonographers to join their diagnostic imaging team. This is a strong opportunity to work a consistent weekday schedule with occasional weekend coverage, in a supportive and well-equipped clinical setting.
Location : On-site in Kickapoo, IL
Schedule : Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM (with some periodic weekend coverage)
What You'll Do :
- Perform general ultrasound procedures including abdominal, OB / GYN, small parts, and vascular studies
- Prepare patients for exams and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to safety and quality protocols
