Responsibilities Work in a 26-bed Med / Surg Telemetry unit at a tertiary care hospital Patient population includes post PCI, pacemaker, AICD, post MI, and cardiac pharmacological intervention cases Typical patient ratio is 1 : 5 to 1 : 7 Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Every other weekend required Floating to similar units may be required Uses Epic for charting and documentation Responsibilities include caring for cardiac monitoring patients after invasive procedures or medication interventions First time travelers are accepted for this position Team supports post-cardiac intervention patient care Required to wear navy and white scrubs Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled Pre-employment modules must be completed prior to start Return staff must wait one year before being eligible to return Requirements Active NY RN license in hand is required for consideration Current BLS certification is mandatory Minimum of 1 year of recent Med / Surg Tele RN experience required Must have proven Epic charting experience Must live outside a 75 mile radius from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-637305.
