Principal Data Scientist

A company is looking for a Principal Data Scientist for the Rentals Marketplace Ads Team.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights for the rentals marketplace

Collaborate with product stakeholders to define metrics and develop data-driven strategies

Mentor junior team members and work with cross-functional teams to ensure relevant insights are communicated

Required Qualifications

Ph.D or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as science, engineering, or statistics

8+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis and experimentation

Strong understanding of statistical concepts and causal inference techniques

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python; experience with visualization tools is a plus

Experience with online products and ability to influence business partners
