About The Position

Job Title : RN Clinical Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM)

Experience : 2 years PICU experience required

License : RN - Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN Multi-state Compact

Certifications : BLS - Basic Life Support, PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Description :

The RN Clinical Nurse is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team.

They ensure that patients and families receive individualized high-quality, safe patient care.

The practice environment is administered by Nurse Managers and other leaders.

The care provided is supported through a professional practice model and evidence-based practice.

All RN Clinical Nurses are licensed and knowledgeable.

Responsibilities include managing the care of complex and high-acuity pediatric patients.

They assess, monitor, and trend vital signs continuously.

Management of vasoactive, sedation, and insulin drips is also required.
