  • Unit Summary

    Exciting changes are happening! Last year, we broke ground on an expansion for our intensive care unit (ICU), increasing capacity by 75% with six new beds. This expansion also includes the development of an advanced care unit (ACU) and a new surgical suite, allowing us to meet the growing needs of our community.

    Position Summary

    As a Registered Nurse in our Advanced Care Unit, you will :

  • Implement care plans, including medication administration and clinical treatments.
  • Document patient care accurately.
  • Monitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including hygiene, nutrition, and mobility.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Evaluate and address the learning needs of patients and families, providing tailored education.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of your patients.
  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
  • KY RN state licensure or compact licensure (required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 10 days of hire
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 45 days of hire
  • Handle With Care training within 30 days of hire
