The Director of Financial Aid provides direction and oversight of the school’s entire Financial Aid operation, ensuring the maximum utilization of Federal resources. Responsible for all activities related to the award of Financial Aid, the distribution of funds, and the accurate maintenance of internal records.
Hialeah Campus : In-Person / On-site.
Training : Located at the Pembroke Pines Location.
Minimum Requirements :
- Available to start on Monday, Jan 5th, 2026.
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields of Accounting, Finance, and Business Administration.
- Prior work experience in college-level financial aid.
- Prior related work experience in a profit college or university. prefer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Supervise Financial Services Team (including FAO’s, SAO’s and DPO’s) and assign responsibilitiesInitiate final approval of all tuition financing plansEnsure proper awarding of Federal funds and completion of verificationOversee all Professional Judgment and Verification issues by conferring with Corporate Support staff and CFOAwards and reports all College Work StudyAudits and certifies all files for each start date including verification of all exit interviews conductedMeets weekly with School Director and Director of Education to verify all changes of status and takes appropriate actions to rectify student recordsDirects the overall operations of the student financial aid program which provides financial assistance to students; oversees student financial aid activities at branch campuses.Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives; recruits, employs, trains, supervises, and evaluates unit staff.Develops and recommends policies for financial aid which support goals and policies of the institution and which ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.Participates in university policy-making task forces which establish tuition policy and pricing determinations and consider other student financial matters.Provides information and reports regarding financial aid to management, the community, and funding agencies.Represents the school to various institutional divisions as well as externally to media, government agencies, funding agencies, students, and / or the general public / local community.Develops and manages annual budgets for the organization and performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.Plans, develops, and implements strategies for generating resources and / or revenues for the organization.Provides direction in the purchase and development of the department's hardware and software.Supervisory Responsibilities :
