Are you a skilled maintenance professional who takes pride in creating safe, well-maintained environments? JFM is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to ensure the

safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our facility-home to up to 14 individuals. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where safety and compliance come first.

About the Role :

The Maintenance Coordinator manages all aspects of facility and grounds upkeep, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as agency policies.

This role covers building and equipment maintenance, safety inspections, emergency preparedness, and vendor coordination. The ideal candidate thrives on problem-solving,

working independently, and making critical decisions in real time.

What You'll Do :

  • . Oversee and implement safety protocols in compliance with Life Safety Codes, OSHA, ADA, Appendix Z Emergency Preparedness, and all relevant regulations.
  • . Conduct routine facility and grounds inspections to identify and resolve hazards.
  • Maintain mechanical systems, utilities, vehicles, and care equipment (e.g., lifts, wheelchairs).
  • . Lead and train staff in fire safety, emergency drills, and maintenance best practices.
  • . Participate in developing and updating the Emergency Operations Plan.
  • . Document and maintain records for inspections, drills, repairs, and compliance reporting.
  • . Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs and projects, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation.

What We're Looking For :

  • . High School diploma or equivalent (vocational or technical training preferred).
  • . Minimum 1 year in facility maintenance or physical plant operations (healthcare or similar setting preferred).
  • . Knowledge of building systems : plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and groundskeeping.
  • . Ability to read / interpret codes and regulations.
  • . Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills.
  • . Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, email, online trainings).
  • . Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, climbing, and operate maintenance equipment.
