Scan Coordinator
Responsible for the correct prices of merchandise to be sold. Responsible for the file maintenance in the computer system. Must check that prices and labels are accurate in prices and description.
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following :
Customer service
Executes ad and price change batches (changing labels, putting up and taking down new and old signs)
Updating and researching non-scanning items and making the needed corrections and adjustments
Testing scan items to ensure items are scanning correctly (whether on ad or regular price) and making the needed corrections and adjustments
Preparing for the following day's price changes
Preparing for all ads
Ordering shelf tags
Checking in-store books and discrepancy reports and making the needed corrections and adjustments
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Word, Excel, and Outlook
Maintains and develops proper and good relationships with vendors and employees
Understand and abide by all Company policies and Standard Operating Procedures
Will directly train, develop, and supervise merchandising team associates
Educations & Experience & Certifications :
High school diploma or equivalent
Work experience : Customer service; grocery store self-stocking helpful
Must be at least 18 years of age upon job offer
Speak read, and write English
Physical demands :
Capable of carrying up to 50 pounds
Push or pull objects weighing up to 500 pounds
Stand, walk, reach, pull, climb, squat, bend, handling of products with hands with dexterity and grip
Schedule : Full-time, 5 days, 40 hours a week or more which is subject to change at the discretion of management. Coverage is needed for the full week. So, some flexibility is required.
