Scaffold Builder - Mobile, AL (Local Candidates Only)

Genesis is seeking Scaffold Builders for an upcoming industrial project in Mobile, AL, starting in February.

Job Details

• Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with safety regulations and project requirements
  
  
• Read and follow drawings, work instructions, and supervisor direction to ensure proper scaffold layout and stability
  
  
• Perform work at heights while maintaining balance and awareness of surroundings at all times
  
  
• Secure scaffolding components using appropriate tools, braces, planks, and tie-offs
  
  
• Inspect materials and equipment for defects or hazards prior to use
  
  
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with site safety standards
  
  
• Communicate effectively with leads and crew members to support efficient job execution
  
  
• Follow all OSHA, site-specific, and company safety procedures at all times
  
  
• Assist with loading, unloading, and staging scaffold materials as needed

Position Overview

Scaffold Builders will assist with the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding systems in a fast-paced industrial environment. Insulation work will also follow during the project.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of scaffold building experience preferred
  
  
• Experience does not need to be extensive
  
  
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow job-site procedures
  
  
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50+ lbs
  
  
• Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding at varying heights
  
  
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, and reach throughout the workday
  
  
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work on your feet for extended periods
  
  
• Comfortable working outdoors and in industrial environments for long shifts
