Dewhirst, Dolven & Parker LLC is a regional civil litigation insurance defense law firm with clients in Colorado, Utah, Texas, Arizona, Nebraska and Wyoming. This position is for an attorney with a demonstrated history of handling litigation cases. The successful candidate will be familiar with Colorado civil procedure and Colorado law. A high level of integrity is a must as well as a willingness to work with a team. This attorney will be required to research legal issues and comply with all legal standards and regulations.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and participate in legal hearings, depositions, and trial.

Prepare briefs.

Motion practice and oral argument

Prepare and participate in mediation, arbitration and settlement negotiations.

Track and bill time.

Qualifications :

5+ years in civil litigation

Licensed in Colorado

Insurance defense experience preferred

Strong research, writing, analytical and problem solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Attorneys with licenses in Texas, Utah, Arizona, and Wyoming a plus!

Salary Commensurate with Experience.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $125,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
