The quis the role that assures all gages and tools meet calibrations. This individual will track tools in the GagePak system, send tools to contractors for calibration and calibrate tools in house.
Duties :
- Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the Chromalloy’s policies, procedures, and regulatory
- Contacts and obtains technical information from engineering, vendors or service providers
- Trains and mentors new and existing operators on instrument operation and maintenance as appropriate
- Manages site instrument calibration program; Identifies and troubleshoots problems with instrumentation
- Creates and maintains accurate calibrated and qualified instrument list per AS9100
- Create and improve calibration procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Maintain and update calibration management systems, track equipment status, and coordinate schedules for servicing
- Reviews calibration certificates both internal and from contractors to ensure calibration procedures and requirements are met and identify out of tolerance conditions
- Calibrate equipment within the GagePak system
Requirements :
Technical Associates Degree or High school diploma / GED and equivalent work experience.Experience in calibration and maintenance, with a minimum of 2-3 years requiredExperience SEM microscopy (Tescan Mira and Vega).Familiar with Ziess or Nikon Optical Microscopes (or any other type of light microscopy)Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Must be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writing
