Sourcing Specialist

This is a 3-month contract w / possibility of extension

THIS IS NOT A full lifecycle recruiter role specializing in the end-to-end process

THIS POSITION HAS MINIMAL candidate or business interaction.

This person will be deeply involved in sourcing, application review, scheduling, and overall recruiting operations. The role offers visibility across multiple business verticals, opportunities to contribute to special projects, and the chance to learn and grow within the talent acquisition space.

What You’ll Do :

  • Partner with Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Business Partners to understand hiring needs and build qualified candidate pipelines.
  • Review applications and resumes to identify strong candidates and conduct initial pre-screen conversations.
  • Proactively source passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, events, Slack communities, and other creative sourcing channels.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate data in our ATS (Greenhouse) to ensure clean reporting and seamless handoffs.
  • Track and report key sourcing metrics and KPIs (e.g., outreach volume, response rates, pipeline progress) to measure impact and guide improvements.

Recruiting Coordination & Operations :

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews (phone, virtual, and onsite) across multiple time zones and roles, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all participants.
  • Manage interview logistics — including schedule adjustments, candidate communications, and day-of coordination.
  • Own administrative tasks throughout the hiring process, including drafting and sending offer letters, initiating background checks, and supporting onboarding communication.
  • Coordinate candidate travel for interviews and relocation, when applicable.
  • Collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, and hiring teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Support broader recruiting initiatives and projects that strengthen candidate experience, sourcing effectiveness, and team collaboration.
  • What We’re Looking For :

  • 2–4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, sourcing, or a related HR / talent operations role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and maintain a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to provide a seamless candidate and stakeholder experience.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms (Greenhouse preferred) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to track and interpret recruiting metrics to drive insights and improvements.
  • A proactive problem-solver who takes initiative, seeks efficiency, and enjoys contributing to team success.
