Chemical Dependency Assessor

Rochester OR Minneapolis - onsite 3 days per week

Essential duties and responsibilities :

Administration

• Receive information from admission about potential admits.
• Contact insurance company, HMO, Rule 25 Assessor to obtain pre-certification and authorization for treatment.
• Obtain the information for pre-certification and document date, who the information was obtained from and time allotted client for treatment.
• Notify the Administrative Assistant of clients days of service whether it be 21, 30, 45, 60, or 90 days.
• Provide the information to the assigned primary counselor in regards to necessary follow-up, i.e. date required for call back; whom to contact, etc.
• Complete the follow up necessary to get client re-authorized for additional time of services, requires information from counselor's treatment plan up-dates to be documented on the correct form for each insurance company.
• Complete initial assessments for incoming clients and provide completed assessment to client's primary counselor.
• Complete initial treatment planning for incoming clients and provide completed treatment plan to client's primary counselor.
• Obtain information for and complete Admissions DAANES and Discharge DAANES for all clients of the Licensed Program.
• Learn the teachings of the program, and be able to fill in for teacher, group leaders when necessary and time allows.

Compensation Range (Negotiable based on qualifications) :

$56,000-$62,000 / year - LADC

$54,000-$57,000 / year - ADC-T
