Job Duties & Responsibilities
Devise and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to grow sales for B2B channels. Analyze data to find the most efficient strategies for Independent Agent and franchise growth. Maintain positive working relationships with new Independent Agents and franchisees. Source and appoint Independent Agents that will bring profitable growth to the company. Develop the Franchise Channel by growing the number of Franchises. Oversee and optimize the efforts of Franchise Sales Managers and Franchise Operations Managers, including site location, lease negotiations, build-outs, hiring processes, training, grand openings, sales, operations, and marketing. Manage and aid Franchise Operations Manager and Independent Agent Marketing Representatives to successfully provide support services. Prepare presentations that will engage and support Franchisees and Independent Agents to grow sales. In the absence of a Franchise Operations Manager and or Marketing Representative, take over their duties and support the B2B channels. Meet with Independent Agents and Franchisees to provide solutions, address concerns, and present new products and services. Discover sales opportunities through research and industry networking. Participate in industry and promotional events (e.g., trade shows) to cultivate Independent Agents and franchise relationships. Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes. Assess sales performance according to KPIs and provide guidance for improvement. Monitor competition within assigned territories. Prepare and present financial, sales, and operations reports to the Vice President of Sales and the Leadership team. Help in the development and execution of motivational and grassroots marketing campaigns. Create, implement, and manage the Franchise Division and the Independent Agent Division budget. Create and follow visits schedules to Independent Agents and Franchises to maximize support and sales growth.
About You Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience as a Territory / Sales Manager or in Franchise management, with a track record of increasing sales and revenue. Insurance Sales experience is strongly preferred. Ability to develop sales strategies and use performance KPIs effectively. Proficient in Google, MS Office; familiarity with CRM software is a plus. Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Strong leadership ability and problem-solving aptitude. Ability to maintain positive and productive relationships with agencies and franchisees. Analytical and critical thinking skills, including understanding income and expense performance, investment models, measures of revenues, cash flows, profitability, and various methods of determining market feasibility. Self-starter with the ability to multitask and operate with minimal supervision. Goal-oriented and motivated individual with excellent relationship-building skills. Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Docs and sales management software. Travel of 85%+ required. Bilingual in English & Spanish preferred.
