Director Position

Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization providing programs and services to individuals with and without disabilities.

Our Child Development Center is looking to hire a Director to manage the complete operation of the program. This includes following policies and procedures, staffing the center, meeting State and other regulations, financial management, acting as the community liaison and overseeing the day to day programming. The Director is a full-time exempt position M-F, 8 : 30-4 : 30, 35 hours per week with one hour unpaid lunch. The annual salary is $52,500 with full benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, Paid Time Off, 403b and the Employee Assistance Program. Please consider joining our team!

Qualifications :

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1 year of experience with children.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 2 years of experience with children.
• An associate's degree from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with children.
• An associate's degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 4 years of experience with children.

Prior experience working with children with special needs preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred. Current US driver's license with acceptable driving record obtained through the Office of Motor Vehicles. Acceptable Criminal Record, Child Abuse History, Department of Human Services FBI Clearance and acceptable results from the National Sex Offender Registry (NSOR) required. Passing of physical examination and TB required.
