Day to Day :
- Ensuring patient flow and providing quality patient care in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow protocol in rooming and exiting patients - upwards of 21 patients a day
- Complete all provider referrals for each patient.
- Administer injections and distribute oral medications under physicians' order; perform venipuncture.
- Assist the medical provider with charting office visits; ensuring communication and documentation for comprehensive patient care coordination, referrals
- In between patients MA will responsible for administering both covid test / vaccinations
- 1 : 1 relationship with a single provider, providing direct support and helping general inquiries
- Conducting AC1s, collecting and processing urine samples, administering
- Administer vaccinations
- Scheduling follow up calls and answering the medical assistant call line
- All back office, don't anticipate front
- Answering the medical assistant call line, communicating with other clinics and pharmacies and answering immediate questions of patients
- Scheduling follow up appointments
3-5 Must Have Skills / Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification Through Washington State DOH6 Months experience or Entry LevelNice to Have Skills
