Behavioral Health Technician (Overnight Shift)

$16 - $18.50/hour
Full-Time | Overnight Shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
About Us

Pyramid Healthcare is opening a new detox and residential treatment facility in Concord, NC and is seeking compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to join our overnight team. As a BHT, you will provide essential support to clients during their recovery journey, ensuring safety, structure, and engagement in a therapeutic environment.
Position Summary

The Behavioral Health Technician is a hands-on, direct care role that supervises clients, provides support during treatment programming, and assists with daily living needs. Overnight BHTs ensure a safe and structured environment while monitoring client well-being throughout the night.
Schedule & Pay

• Shift: Overnight | 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Pay: $16 - $18.50/hour (based on experience)
• Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Complete client intakes and support new admissions during overnight hours.
• Supervise and monitor clients throughout the night to ensure safety and program compliance.
• Conduct regular rounds and document client observations accurately.
• Observe and document client self-administration of medication as applicable.
• Maintain comprehensive client records and required documentation.
• Provide assistance with client needs, including dietary or housekeeping support.
• Respond appropriately to client behavioral or emotional crises, including crisis intervention when necessary.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in compliance with facility standards.
• Provide transportation for clients when needed.
• Uphold therapeutic boundaries and professional ethics at all times.
• Complete all required trainings and participate in staff development.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (required or ability to obtain upon hire).

Experience

• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.

Skills & Abilities

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and respond effectively in crisis situations.
• Working knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
