Responsibilities :

Manufacturing and inspection of machined parts to customer requirements

Interpret and understand specifications as stated in Job Travelers, Inspection Reports, and Quality Control Plans

Train Level 1 and 2 Machinists on machine operations and processes

Adhere to Quality Management System procedures and Work Instructions

Audit compliance with standard work instructions and process control plans to ensure production of good parts.

Proficiently use measuring devices including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, intra-mics, and pin gages

Support specific teams upon request

Set up and operation of machines

Trouble shooting tooling and fixture issues

Make adjustments as needed to maintain the quality of the product

Understand inspection techniques including GD&T

Ability to demonstrate completion of skills listed in the Skills Matrix

Completes all job-related paperwork and production reporting to accurately record time and attendance and inventory

Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area using 6S guidelines and safety standards

Complies with all safe practices, policies, and regulations

Perform other duties as assigned or requested

Qualifications :

• 3-5 years of experience in CNC Machining, CNC Programming, and Inspection philosophies required
• Practical math skills required
• High school diploma or GED
• required
• Previous experience with standard shop tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) required
• Lean manufacturing and quality system experience preferred (ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 13485, and AS9100D preferred)
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
• Understanding of physical characteristics of materials such as stainless steels, titanium, and aluminum
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
