Pediatric Hospitalist physician employment in North Dakota : Locum Tenens Pediatric HospitalistLocation : Dickinson, North DakotaFacility : Critical Access Hospital | Level II Nursery | Labor & Delivery UnitLicensure : North Dakota license or IMLC accepted Availability / Schedule

Confirmed Coverage Dates :

November 21 (7 : 00 AM) November 28 (7 : 00 AM), 2025

December 17 (7 : 00 AM) December 23 (7 : 00 AM), 2025

Ongoing Need : Coverage needed into 2026

Monthly Coverage : 7-day blocks

Shift Type : 24-hour in-house Licensure and Certifications

License : ND license or IMLC (required)

Board Status : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics (highly preferred)

Required Certifications :

NRP

PALS

ACLS

BLS Clinical Responsibilities

Attend vaginal deliveries (if requested)

Attend all scheduled and emergent C-sections

Admit and discharge newborns

Admit and manage pediatric patients Required Procedures

Circumcisions

Newborn resuscitation

Intubation

Umbilical venous catheter (UVC) placement

Lumbar punctures Patient Volume and Case Info

Admissions per day : 23

Patient age range : Newborn through pediatric patients

No deliveries under 36 weeks gestation (transfers to NICU in Bismarck) Facility Details

EMR : Meditech

Support Staff Includes :

Level II nursery nurses

OB / GYNs

Anesthesia

Respiratory Therapists

Local pediatricians available for consultation
