Job Description
Lead project planning and execution : develop and manage project schedules, cost estimates, budgets, and resource allocation.
Serve as the client advocate : foster strong relationships, manage expectations, proactively communicate status, and mitigate risks or issues.
Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiations, performance, and coordination.
Guide design-build efforts when needed, working collaboratively with designers early in the process.
Manage self-performed craft work : coordinate our internal trades teams, maintain productivity, and uphold quality standards.
Be accountable for safety : enforce site safety policies, ensure OSHA compliance, conduct regular safety inspections, and report on goal metrics.
Quality control : maintain consistent standards, perform inspections, and resolve construction issues in real-time.
Monitor and report on project financials, including cost variances, forecasts, change orders, and profitability.
Lead project close-out : ensure punch lists are completed, final commissioning, turnover documentation, and client satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
Proven track record with multiple delivery methods (construction management, design-build, general contracting).
Experience leading self-perform workforces is a strong plus.
Strong financial acumen : budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and change management.
Excellent leadership and communication skills : ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and maintain client relationships.
Demonstrated commitment to safety; experience implementing safety programs on-site.
Proficiency in construction software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.).
Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and act proactively.
